Leisure company, Dometic Group, is giving camping enthusiasts a chance to win one of three road trips around Australia.
Visitors to the Adelaide Caravan and Camping Show at 11am on February 24, 2010 will be given this great opportunity to join the competition at the WAECO stand in the Wayville Pavilion at stand W18.
The prize will include a 13-week expenses-paid road trip plus receive a make-over of their own caravan, camper trailer or motor home, worth up to $35,000 per winner.
It’s part of the company’s “Follow The Sun” promotion and former Olympian, Brooke Hanson, will help to hand out free gift packs to the first 100 people who register.
The packs will include a barbeque set, stubby cooler, bottle-opener, key ring, pen and bumper stickers, valued at over $100.
The three lucky people who win the road trips will also receive a complete makeover of their own caravan or camper with a range of luxurious Dometic and WAECO products.
Dometic Group president, Thomas Baehlkow, urged people to visit the Dometic-WAECO stand during the five day caravan and camping show and enter the “Follow The Sun” promotion.
“This is the first time in history that our company has launched such an exciting consumer campaign in the Australian market,” he said.
“If you love caravanning or camping around Australia but hate paying travel expenses, if you love meeting new people and can see yourself as a Dometic Ambassador promoting your leading appliances while taking in some of Australia’s best landscape and destinations, then this promotion is for you.”
Competition winners will be announced at the Sydney Caravan and Camping Show April 17, 2010. Their adventure tour will begin at the Brisbane Caravan and Camping Show June 9 and finish on the Gold Coast with a celebration party September 15.
