Melbourne’s iconic Hotel Windsor has released an Easter accommodation deal offering a two-night stay in a traditional queen room for $350 between April 2 and April 5.
That is equivalent to just $175 per night, and for an extra $70 guests can upgrade to a superior room for both nights.
To celebrate Easter, there will be some specially-made chocolate treats in each room and the breakfast buffet will feature The Hotel Windsor’s famous hot cross buns, freshly made at the hotel each morning.
The 180-room Hotel Windsor was built in 1883, pre-dating some of the world’s leading grand hotels including the Savoy in London, which was built in 1889, the Waldorf Astoria in New York which dates back to 1893, and the Ritz Paris which opened in 1898.
Chief executive and general manager, David Perry said this was a wonderful opportunity for people wanting to take a break over the Easter period to enjoy the renowned service and comfort of Melbourne’s most famous hotel.
“It is one of the ultimate Melbourne experiences to take up residence for a few days in this grand and historic hotel and enjoy all that Melbourne has to offer at this time of year”, he added.
The offer is valid for minimum stays of two nights between April 2 and April 5, 2010 and is subject to availability at the time of booking.
Extra nights are available from $175 per night.
