The Big4 Holiday Parks group has raised more than $50,000 for its charity partner – The Humour Foundation’s Clown Doctors, since last October.

The partnership has launched a new fundraising effort – the Big4 Clown Doctor Dolls which retail at $15 each, with $3.40 (excluding GST) going to the charity from each sale.

Big4 chief executive Terry Goodall said the charity was a very worthy cause and relevant to Big4and its members.

“At Big4 we take what we do seriously, but we don’t take ourselves seriously. While treatment for any illness is no laughing matter, it’s good to know that there is a group dedicated to putting a smile on the faces of these children and their families”.

The money raised is used to fund the 55 “Clown Doctors” who make over 1300 visits to Australian hospitals each year.

Big4 is a cooperative group of over 170 holiday parks around Australia.

It provides a range of accommodation options from powered ensuite sites for caravan and motorhomes to luxury cabins.
