Booloominbah - Armidale, NSW

Built between 1883 and 1888 Booloominbah is radically different from earlier colonial and Victorian homesteads of the period. The massive brick residence is a collage of gables, chimneys and verandas. Today Booloominbah is regarded by some as "probably the finest country house in Australia". It now serves as part of the campus of the University of New England Armidale.
