Brighton Agricultural Show
Date: Wednesday 7th Nov 18
Time: 8:00 am - 7:00 pm
Brighton, a historic town on the road between Hobart and Launceston, holds its annual agricultural show on the first Sunday in November. The show is one of the oldest local events and fortunately still retains its classic country feel.

The traditional show program includes wood chopping, whip cracking and livestock competitions of beef cattle, stud sheep, trade lambs and angora goats.

There are dog competitions and a pet’s parade.

For the young at heart side show alley is not to be missed with plenty of rides of all ages.

Live entertainment is provided throughout the day as well as plenty of food and beverage stalls.

The new and improved free activities area for children near the main arena will keep the children entertainment for hours.

Admission is $10.00 for adults, $2.00 for children under 14 and $6.00 for concession.

Come along to the Brighton Agricultural Show and enjoy a little bit of country.
